In the very near future, mankind is establishing a base in the Shackleton crater at the Moon's South Pole. Players lead space agencies working together to expand the human presence on the Moon, with the mission sponsored by three major corporations, each chasing its own goals.
Shackleton Base: A Journey to the Moon is a modular-sandbox Eurogame built around worker placement, pick-up-and-deliver, and resource optimization, with a variable setup that changes what's on the table each game. The box includes seven unique Corporations, of which three are in play each session, and you'll direct your Engineers, Scientists, and Technicians across the board to complete your objectives. Designed by Fabio Lopiano and Nestore Mangone with art by David Sitbon, it's built for medium-to-heavy Euro strategy gamers, and the space agency with the most victory points at the end wins.
